LSC follows a person-centered model of healthcare called New Pathways. New Pathways encourages the development of resident-centered practices and a culture that emphasizes an individual’s independence and overall quality of life. In essence, daily decisions, both large and small, are left up to the residents of our communities as much as possible.
We know that the people who work directly with our senior residents every day are the ones who need to serve them best. The intensive New Pathways training program creates more capable LSC staff members, giving them the competencies and compassion to make the best decisions for the residents in their charge.
LSC’s newest senior living facilities are purposefully designed to provide a more contemporary environment for residents. Features include small “neighborhoods,” private rooms, and community features like Internet cafes, buffet-style dining, and playgrounds for visiting children.
